CONGRATULATIONS! You popped the big question and your partner said yes. You've got so much planned for your big gay wedding day - casual or formal, big or intimate - AND one of the last details left to deal with is finding and selecting a person to marry you! Look no further, Joyful Joinings is gay-friendly and here to guide and serve you!

At Joyful Joinings, we will work with you to create a wedding ceremony as unique as you and your love. We will talk with you about your personal love story, your beliefs and traditions, your shared interests, and your special requests.

In addition, we can offer ideas and suggestions that will give your ceremony that extra loving and unique touch. While we are nondenominational, we invite couples to incorporate their spiritual or cultural traditions into their wedding ceremony, if they wish. It's your day, your way!

We specialize in gay and lesbian weddings - Your Dream + Our Inspiration = Magical Ceremonies. "Jeri" Costa, Jenny Ward, and Michelle Foust Vertner started the business when gay marriage was legalized last November. Knowing that Washington State law does not require churches, synagogues or mosques to conduct gay marriages, and there are still many institutions that remain intolerant, Joyful Joinings offers an accepting alternative that, while nondenominational, invites couples to incorporate their spiritual or cultural traditions into their wedding ceremony.

They can assure you that your ceremony will not be boring - they are passionate about providing unique, personalized services.

Jeri Costa and Jenny Ward are both credentialed as non-denominational officiates. When you meet them you'll feel their kindness, generosity, leadership abilities, positive energy and their passion for life. You will be working with one of them on an intimate basis and their priority is to make you feel comfortable with them.

Michelle Foust Vertner's role is the day-of -ceremony coordinator. Her intention is to handle all the "behind the scenes" elements to bring your wedding day together flawlessly and beautifully.

Costa is also a certified life coach and spiritual counselor and offers custom services as varied as pre-marriage coaching, ceremony and vow writing, and personalized name selection services utilizing numerology.
