More About the Vendor:
Carl Jung said ceremony and ritual are essential for people to mark the important transitions of life. Ceremony is a noble and life affirming way to mark important rites of passage. Thoughtful ritual gives optimal meaning and guides you on a path to your new status in a life affirming way.
I am Julian Spalding , a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant(c), in Ashland, Oregon. I officiate same sex, transgender and gender non-conforming weddings, as well as funerals, memorials and any other occasion. I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your personal beliefs and includes any traditions or customs that are important to you. My ceremonies are inclusive of gender variations, race and affectional orientation.
I honor all philosophies, beliefs and traditions -- secular, spiritual and interfaith. I am familiar with Druidic, pagan and faerie ceremony, Hawaiian shamanism, Western magical systems, Hinduism and Christian mysticism and can incorporate elements of any of these. I am an enrolled member of the Osage Nation of Oklahoma and a legal, eagle feather carrier. I can incorporate Native American elements into your ritual if are of Native heritage.
The blue morpho butterfly is my logo, signifying personal transformation. If you hire me to officiate your ceremony, Blue morpho is asking you to embrace change because you are embarking on a new phase of your life. Blue morphos bring color and joy to your life.
Ceremony also reminds us that we are all on a long journey of the soul. On this journey we encounter endless turns, shifts, and conditions that cause us to morph into ever-finer beings. At our soul-journey's end we are inevitably changed and not at all the same as when we started on the path of our lives.
