More About the Vendor:
I am honored to be able to serve same sex couples from around the world at this very historical and joyous time in San Francisco - the legendary heart of the marriage equality movement and a magical and beautiful place to be married.
A wedding is a feast of love and I will help you create a recipe that suits your unique tastes whether simple, traditional or layered with creative expression.
Your wedding ceremony will be utterly personal and absolutely unique as we explore, in an easeful and enjoyable process, who you are as individuals and as a couple and the vision you have for your ceremony.
I serve all faiths, beliefs and orientations because I know that we are all united at the heart and speak the same language of love. I became a non-denominational minister precisely because I did not want to proclaim a particular set of beliefs but rather to help you express what is uniquely important to you as you begin this new chapter in your life.
We will blend together tradition, innovation and ritual into a wedding ceremony that will inspire, uplift and move you and your guests.
We can very simply and deeply express your love and commitment to each other. If you choose to elaborate, we can include traditions from your background, from other cultures or create new ones.
We can weave into the ceremony readings, music ritual and art that is meaningful to you. Your ceremony can include children, relatives, pets or other special guests.

We wanted an officiant who could craft a wedding that represented both our sense of humor and the importance we placed on our vows, someone who could bring gravitas and a sense of ritual without making us feel pressured or burdened by traditional expectations. Shyamala delivered!

Shyamala's calm, caring energy came through during each conversation and her words during the ceremony captured who we are individually and as a couple. Throughout she expressed genuine happiness for us and acknowledged the joy we all felt. We have been together for 25 years and truly didn't expect our eventual wedding to be as joyful and memorable as if we were a new couple.
Rob and Kevin
We have been a couple since 1978 when we met at a hospital where we both worked as nurses. Shyamala performed a warm and loving marriage rite. She could not have been any kinder or more respectful. We were very moved and will remember our wonderful ceremony forever.

Thank you for your attention to detail and your kind words to our family and friends. We now consider you part of our extended family. We highly recommend Shyamala to any couple looking for an officiant.
