Gay Owned: Gay Wedding Honeymoon Lodging in South Lake Tahoe, CA, USA
Black Bear Inn is a gay-owned bed and breakfast in South Lake Tahoe, and was voted one of the top 10 B&Bs in California. The owners, Jerry and Kevin, designed and built the lodge and cabins in the late 1990s with an eye toward recreating the old lodges of the West by incorporating rough-hewn beams, wood plank flooring, repurposed barn wood and a mix of antique and new furnishings.
The lodge has just five guest rooms, and three rustic cabins sit on the back grounds. Each lodge room has a private bath, king bed, fireplace, TV/DVD and comes with a full breakfast. The cabins have all the same amenities, plus they include a kitchenette and private outdoor patio.
Enjoy your romantic Lake Tahoe honeymoon getaway in this unique luxury lodge. Spend your days hiking, biking, and enjoying all of the lake activities that Tahoe has to offer, and then come back to the inn to relax and recharge.
Jerry and Kevin also perform small weddings at Black Bear Inn. Due to the intimate size of the property, wedding ceremonies max out at about 30 people when indoors and 50 people when outdoors in the summer months. Please contact the inn for more info on Lake Tahoe weddings marriages as well as using Black Bear Inn as your Lake Tahoe wedding venue.
