To this end, we created Purple Unions as a place where gay and lesbian couples can find gay friendly wedding vendors to help them plan their perfect wedding day. Florida does not recognize relationships between gay and lesbian couples, and has a legal and constitutional ban on gay marriage. Florida also does not allow gay and lesbian couples to adopt.
