As a gay couple together since 1992, we believe that marriage and all the responsibilities and benefits that come with it should be available to committed gay and lesbian couples everywhere. Alaska currently does not allow or recognize marriages between gay and lesbian couples, but the state does allow adoption by gay and lesbian couples. A marriage equality lawsuit is working its way through the courts.
