Gay Friendly Stowe, Vermont Wedding Venue - Timberholm Inn Gay Friendly: Gay Wedding Event Location in Stowe, VT, USA

Located in Stowe, the number one destination in Vermont, the Timberholm Inn is a historic Vermont ski lodge. The Timberholm Inn sits on four acres of wooded hillside with spectacular views of Vermont's Green Mountains.

We host weddings year round. In warmer weather, weddings in our garden overlooking the mountains can accommodate up to 100 guests.

In the colder months, our wedding couples can choose to marry in our beautiful wood paneled great room in front of our large flagstone fireplace.

We work with you to provide everything you need for your small intimate wedding with just you and your partner, or, if you are planning a grander affair, we will help you with everything from the perfect caterer to the justice of the peace.

We know chefs, catering companies, florists, photographers, musicians, wedding planners, justices of the peace, ministers, wedding attire specialists, or anybody else in our community that you might need to make your wedding special.

You and your guests can rent the entire Inn for a weekend, or a week. Many couples choose to rent the whole place, which can sleep up to 22 guests in 9 rooms. Each room or suite has a private bath and unique artisanal furniture made by local craftsmen and decorated in a Vermont ski lodge style.

We use only the highest quality linens on the beds and there is a comforter at the foot of each bed for napping.

We serve large three-course country award winning breakfasts from fresh, local ingredients.

Tom serves tea, cocoa and baked goodies every afternoon in the great room. If you or a guest has dietary restrictions we will happily accommodate them.

Stowe is the premier downhill ski destination in the east as well as a world-class destination for cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking and cycling. It is a quintessential New England village with some of the best restaurants, spas, art galleries and shopping to be found anywhere.

You and your guests can go kayaking, snowshoeing, dogsledding, hiking or even zip-lining. No matter the time of year there is always something to do in Stowe.

Vermont is New England's most gay-friendly state. We were the first state to legalize same sex marriage via legislation and we are proud of that fact. Most other states found their way to legalization by court order. Vermont voters chose to legalize same sex marriage by an overwhelming majority.

Come to Stowe, Vermont for your wedding and let Tom and Susan help you with the details.
