Taylor House is located in a wonderful, quiet Boston neighborhood close to parks, restaurants, and beautiful Jamaica Pond, where many couples have held their wedding ceremonies and then walked back to the bed and breakfast for their reception. We can handle sit-down dinners for up to 44 guests, as well as wedding receptions for up to 80 - food is served from a buffet and your guests can sit and chat or wander the first floor and gardens.We've hosted Boston weddings and rehearsal dinners, baby showers, anniversary and birthday parties, as well as business retreats over a period of days. During the summer and fall months, when the weather is good, our gardens offer a great place for photos and gatherings. Many caterers have used the outdoor space for cocktail tables and serving drinks. We can help you find caterers, florists, hair salons, and even a great local wedding planner who has done many events at Taylor House. Our rates vary depending on the day of week and whether it will be an afternoon or evening event. Because we may have other B&B guests, we ask that all events finish by 10 pm so that we can have the kitchen ready for the next morning. There is street parking outside our facility, as well as two large parking lots at the end of our street with no restrictions on weekends.
