Sans Souci offers beautiful outdoor, lake shore weddings in May through June and late August through October in New Buffalo, Michigan. Our 50 acre nature retreat and private lake is yours to enjoy with your family and friends, and accommodations are included in the package.

Why have your wedding pass by so quickly that it’s over before you have had the chance to relax and enjoy this most important day? At Sans Souci, you can enjoy a weekend with your friends and family, where everyone can relax together in complete privacy (2 nt min stay on weekends).

Sans Souci can sleep 20 guests (some additional space for children) between our suite wing, our 2 vacation homes and 2 lakeside cottages. Each guest room has a wood-burning fireplace, whirlpool bathtub, king sized bed, private phone line, and a TV/video/sound system.

Our packages are all-inclusive, and include 4 fully equipped kitchens, 3 washer/dryers, 4 gas barbeque grills, 2 rowboats for fishing, a gorgeous lakeside gazebo and a glassed-in “winter garden,” grill and picnic field for meals and gatherings.

Our nature retreat requires care to maintain its beauty and balance, so we request that you have no more than 175 total guests at your event. Sans Souci is just 10 miles away from a number of hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts that can handle additional out-of-town guests. Once you confirm your wedding reservation, our Innkeepers will be happy to assist you in coordinating with wedding and accommodation vendors.

Because weather can be fickle, we strongly encourage couples to rent a tent for their wedding day (we can assist you with this as well). Heaters and side panels may also be useful, depending on the time of year.

The Innkeepers live on-site all year, and will be available throughout the wedding weekend to help you navigate any crises or questions that may arise.. During your stay, we’ll provide fresh towels and linens, garbage removal, and room turn-down service during the reception. We do not provide meals.
