My name is Jim Rooney and I was born in Glasgow Scotland. I come from a family of 12.

I was ordained a priest in the Roman Catholic Tradition in 1995 and came to Manhattan in August 2000. I served as a chaplain in St. Vincent's Hospital for eight years. I recently purchased a home in Dutchess County and i split my time between Manhattan and Beacon, NY. I can handle all of your meetings and service.

My home in Beacon is one place where I offer and enjoy meeting with clients to plan events. A natural setting, it offers a relaxing and hospitable surrounding that allows me to really get to know my clients and assist them in planning the special event.

I assist people from all walks of life and all faith traditions, whether it be Catholic, Christian, non-denominational or no faith tradition. I can officiate at ceremonies in the location of your choice oin the Hudson Valley.

During joyous moments including weddings and births and when your life is turned upside-down by the sadness of a loved one's death, I will be there to walk with you through the grieving as we prepare the appropriate funeral or memorial service for the occasion.

I will always put your needs and wishes first and will make sure that your service reflects your wishes, your ideals and your values!
