Hi, I'm Reverend Annie, and I am an ordained New York City Interfaith Minister and licensed Wedding Officiant. I've officiated at hundreds of Civil, Non-Denominational and Spiritual wedding ceremonies with great enthusiasm and joy.Each couple I meet and each ceremony I celebrate is unique and memorable. I have years of experience planning, preparing, writing, and performing New York wedding ceremonies, and can assure you that I will be confident, relaxed, and at peace on your wedding day. I will support you, so that on your wedding day you'll feel relaxed, ready, and truly present to give your heart to your partner, to truly experience each moment, and celebrate your wedding day! Couples ask me, "How did you get into the wedding business?" I've always been interested in where we come from, where we're going, what we believe, and the many things that happen on the way. I was raised Catholic, and knew there was more to God and the universe than what I was taught in church. As a child, I was attracted to God, the Gods, Goddesses, heroes, culture and mythology of all countries, all religions, and all people. I felt the sting of ostracism from the Catholic Church when my parents got a divorce. So I started on a spiritual quest. Here's where that quest led me. I have an undergraduate degree in Related Arts from Kutztown University, a Masters in Education from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA, and have been ordained an Interfaith Minister by The New Seminary, New York, NY. My journey also led me to love theatre, scifi, pop culture, pen pals, British culture, creative writing, and my passport. I am so happy to have found a path that fulfills me and makes my spirit sing. How many people are allowed to be continually experience the happiest day of two peoples' lives? I do! Thank God! I am proud to support my gay friends and family in marriage equality for all! I stand with you and the LGBT community in solidarity and activism, in support of Civil Rights, affirming your love and partnership with equal respect under the law, as it is under God. I took a stand for love at the National Equality March on Sun. Oct. 11, 2009 in Washington, DC and continue to demonstrate for equal rights.
