After a long, hard struggle, we finally are able to recognize officially what we as a community have known all along, that we have been in long term, happy and loving relationships since the beginning of time. We have children, sometimes our own from previous relationships and more frequently, through adoption. We are America!

It is my goal for every wedding I shoot to preserve the romantic and emotional essence of those wonderful moments in a photo-journalistic style that also captures the events of the day for a lifetime of viewing. I believe everyone ought to have great photos of their wedding, so I will make every attempt to work within your budget.

I photograph weddings from the perspective and training of a seasoned photojournalist. If you are looking for lots of poised, studio-looking shots of folks staring into the camera with forced smiles, that's not me. If you are looking for beautiful candid shots of you and your spouse and your friends that tell the story of your most wonderful of all days, now that is my specialty! After many years as a press photographer, I have the knack of staying out of the way and putting everyone at ease, and still getting all those wonderful shots.

I also shoot engagement photos. I actually recommend that you consider doing an engagement shoot. They do not take a long time. You can do them at your favorite romantic location. You will have a wonderful album of the two most in love people in the world, just being yourselves without the interruptions of all those well-meaning, congratulatory friends and family on the wedding day. There are a couple of extras that arise from an engagement shoot. The first is that you will get a loving picture of the two of you personally printed by me on fine art paper with sufficient white border for all your wedding guests to sign on your wedding day. The second is that we will have had the time to really get to know each other so that I will be able to get even better shots on your wedding day.
