Janet Villas is a professional wedding entertainer who has sung at hundreds of wedding ceremonies, including commitment ceremonies, civil unions, weddings, baptisms and memorial services for gay and straight clients and personalized the experience for all involved. She has sung in Unitarian, Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, and Lutheran churches as well as at beaches, lakes, homes and restaurants.

She has sung with the New York City Opera chorus for twenty years and has performed numerous cabaret shows in New York and New Jersey. She is comfortable with a wide variety of styles and has sung Ave Maria, If We Only Have Love and Seasons of Love in the same service.

She takes great pride in singing for the gay and lesbian community. She has sung the National Anthem at several Pride celebrations and at the first day of domestic partnership in Maplewood, NJ. She has also performed with the Stonewall Chorale in New York and at the Holly Folly in Provincetown. She has sung numerous concerts at community centers throughout the state.
