Harmony Ridge Lodge: A unique Northern California Venue for Gay wedding ceremonies and receptions

Harmony Ridge Lodge is a luxurious brand new 10 bedroom lodge and event venue located in Nevada City California. We are gay-owned and operated and have a range of gay/lesbian vendors - ministers, caterers, photographers, DJs and florists - ready to serve our community.

Since opening our doors in October 2007, Harmony Ridge Lodge has quickly become a popular wedding venue for both outdoor and indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. We have 9 weddings booked for the summer and fall in 2008. The weddings range from an intimate gathering for a Bay Area couple and 30 friends, to an outdoor ceremony and reception for 150.

With the historic ruling of the California Supreme Court, Harmony Ridge Lodge owners Jamie O'Donnell and Bob Hofstadt have decided to begin promoting the Lodge for gay and lesbian weddings this summer and fall.

With an event lawn, perennial gardens and surrounding pine forest, Harmony Ridge Lodge is an ideal location for an intimate mountain wedding.

The Lodge offers:

- Nine rooms for your out-of-town guests that can sleep more than 20 guests.

- Indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and receptions

- A large canopied deck for dancing

- A new commercial kitchen for caterers

We offer packages from $1000 for use of the Lodge and gardens for an afternoon ceremony and reception, or up to $5000 to reserve the complete Lodge for you and your guests for a wedding weekend
