Gay Friendly: Gay Wedding Honeymoon Location in San Gabriel, Morelos, Mexico
The world is full of charming places, and if you're really fortunate, you might get to see one or two that have the extraordinary enchantment of Hacienda San Gabriel in Morelos, Mexico.
My family has owned Hacienda San Gabriel for three generations, but we're just the latest caretakers of its amazing history and romantic ambiance. Legends resonate through its historic walls to transport you to a different time and way of life.
Our story starts with Cortes, who ordered the construction of a Franciscan Monastery, destined to become the most important sugar cane plantation in Latin America. Like a Phoenix, Hacienda San Gabriel has risen from the ashes of history a number of times.
In our history, you can see Zapata during the Mexican revolution, and hear the echo of uprisings that kept the immense property of San Gabriel alive.
In 1972, our beautiful hacienda was featured on the cover of "Architectural Digest", and now it renews its story once again. For two generations, we have worked to create a small piece of perfection. We promote sustainability and ensure that our practices are always in balance with nature, fulfilling my grandmother's dream.
Our exotic boutique hotel, museum and spa welcome you to experience something unforgettable - vaulted ceilings, ten foot thick walls, room after room of museum-worthy furniture and art, as well as our own aqueduct that will soon produce hydroelectricity for the property. Imagine our lush tropical gardens, hidden pools, and bountiful orchards - every niche meticulously created and maintained.
Now image you and your new spouse here together on your honeymoon, becoming part of our history and treating yourselves to true luxury. We welcome same sex couples!
