Come touch history and share your special day with Founders' Museum & Pioneer Village and we will ensure that it is an event to remember. We have the great venue for your service be it inside the quaint Village Church which seats about 60 of your guests very comfortably but of course has held 80 so there is some room for play.Also with our vast grounds and various different Pioneer Buildings on site there is a lot of outdoor space for your event as well. We have a covered outdoor large wooden pavilion that will also make an excellent option for either services or an evening dance as it does have electrical access and holders for overhead lights. We have contacts with ABC Rentals in Thunder Bay for renting outdoor chairs, tents and what we cannot assist you with; should you require them and can forward you their contact information. We have special package information and contacts for almost everything, Minister to perform a variety of services for your union, flowers, photographer, Music, and much more. We have a Wedding Dream Book available for viewing on site as it is a large binder of possibilities to help the imagination grow. We have a large Heritage Community Hall with new washroom facilities, large new Kitchen and an amazing Cater on staff that is always willing to work with you for the best food choices at affordable prices as she herself is a professional chef who is obsessed with quality and also is the owner Ambiance Catering of Thunder Bay. Ambiance can handle all your reception requirements including liquor licensing and serving. Full use of the Kitchen is included in the hall rental price should you wish to handle food service yourself. Big or small we can handle it all. We will accommodate after hours services to ensure privacy and no tourists are at the site. Union services are held year round; with the exception of the Pioneer Buildings as the site is closed down for the winter months. We offer one of the best locations for Vintage Themed wedding or engagement photo options with our various public buildings and land we own around the museum to make sure the sparkle of the day is captured on film or video for years to come.
