He specializes in gold and platinum jewelry.His first visit to Maine, in 1973 when he took a summer retreat from the University of Vermont, acquainted him with the picturesque Midcoast town of Camden. At 19 he left college and The magnetic charm of this town pulled at him after he returned loaded all of his belongings into his little truck and followed his dream. In Camden, he rented a small shop and pursued his hobby of silversmithing, selling his jewelry to the general public and making custom pieces clients who liked his unique melding of art, fashion and design. Etienne worked from this store for twenty five years, watching it grow from a one-person operation to a twelve person business. Etienne Perret now has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, as well as a graduate gemologists degree from the Gemological institute of America. He's won two Diamonds of Distinction awards, and has twice been a finalist in the prestigious Diamonds international Design Competition. His works are featured by the Platinum Guild International for his innovative uses of Platinum in jewelry. Etienne combines vision, marketing savvy, and hard work, and his company has grown internationally. You can find his work in Nordstrom, Birks of Canada, and Mikimoto.
