Congratulations if you are engaged and looking for entertainment! I have been a DJ since I turned 21, originally for a gay club in Vermont called the Rainbow Cattle Company. Through that experience, I have had years of experience entertaining with drag queens, working with civil unions, gay marriages, etc. I remain very active in the GLBTQA community since then, doing special dances for holidays, benefits and other events. In the past two years, I have really begun emphasizing my DJ talents as specializing in wedding entertainment and have really loved it! With a growing number of weddings each year, I am traveling across New England. Each wedding is extremely different, with unique circumstances, backgrounds, and tastes to be reflected while still entertaining your guests. I have a huge music library and MC skills to be appropriate for your venue and wedding theme. Over the months before your gay or lesbian wedding, I shall work with you to create your agenda for the event, as well as your announcements and music choices especially for the focal points Being in New England, I have worked for many couples that are coming to New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont, all of which now recognize same sex weddings. Since I did my first gay wedding, featured in PBS After Stonewall, I have done many more of various legalities, some of which have changed status with the laws. More than a decade later, I have now done the wedding of the eldest child of that same sex wedding, my first second generational groom. As recently as last week (10/9/10) I helped some lesbians from North Carolina with their wedding in Stowe, Vermont. Here is their email to me from the following day: "Hey Chris, we are en route to our honeymoon and just wanted to take a sec to thank you for such a great job last night!!! Everyone had a blast and we got lots of great feedback on your music choices. Thank you so much for being there for us!"…..Jess and Tricia On this past Monday, I was co-chair for the first GLBTQA Business Expo in New Hampshire for National Coming OUT Day. Upcoming events for me include a Halloween GLBT Dance at the local UU Churchand a youth dance for a Gay-Straight Alliance this spring. I appreciate having the opportunity to give back to my community, to be open with everyone with my work, and to be able to celebrate true love in all of its forms.
