Nevada Gay Unions was founded by David Oliphant, a native Nevadan, the middle of 5 boys and the son of parents who have been married 52 years and counting! "It's a blessing for me to help unite two people who are in love, want to share their commitment in front of their family and friends and who choose to share their lives together. I became ordained in 2003 to marry friends and since have married a number of couples (both straight and gay) in churches, in back yards of private homes, on the Playa at Burning Man, looking over majestic Lake Tahoe, standing on the beach in Maui and at the base of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park".

Choosing the right officiator is very important. The moment the two of you exchange vows, rings, glances of love, tears, etc. will be one you will cherish and remember for life! When you choose David you are selecting a man who is well spoken, warm, caring and understanding.

Ceremonies are written personally for each couple and can be spiritual, religious, both or neither, it's really about what YOU want for your very special day. David has been married to Christopher, his husband and partner of 5 years. He also teaches yoga, hosts television shows and loves and cares for his two rescue dogs.
