Cape Cod justice of the peace Claire Watts uses a lovely civil ceremony as the basis for creating your perfect wedding - the day you can make uniquely yours.

We'll start with my ceremony, which you can use as-is, or you can customize it with your own changes, ideas, and readings.

I perform most of my weddings on the Lower Cape - you choose the venue which suits you and your partner best. I've performed weddings at many beautiful Cape Cod beaches, lighthouses, country inns, and private homes, as well as my own home in Wellfleet.

As a Justice of the Peace, my fees are set by the State - $100 if performed in my hometown of Wellfleet, $150 if in any other town or city in Massachusetts. There is an extra fee for a rehearsal. If you'd like to meet me before the wedding day and it involves travel, there is also a small fee. I do work pro-bono for service members serving in Iraq - ask me for details.
