The Amaryllis Ensemble was founded in 1987, after we finished our studies at the Manhattan School of Music. We specialize in unique, customized classical music for weddings in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We're not agents - we're musicians who will play at your wedding ceremony or reception.

We'll help you create an intimate, elegant, and joyful atmosphere for your special day. The Amaryllis Ensemble can help you arrange a fairy tale ceremony with beautiful music.

We offer a number of mixed ensembles including the violin, viola, cello, flute and occasionally the trumpet. We can play a wide range of classical works, from Bach to Vivaldi, as well as Gershwin to Broadway.

We're based in both Northern New Jersey and central Connecticut. Currently, and perform 80+ yearly engagements in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Our core group is a string trio: violin, viola and cello. We can augment this combination with a second violin, flute, vocalist and/or trumpet.

We know that each wedding is a unique event, and we will work one on one with you and your partner to prepare the music for your wedding day to your specifications.

Each of our members graduated from a major conservatory of music, and is at the highest professional level. We are also tenured, full-time members of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the New Haven Symphony, the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic.

We have performed with numerous professional orchestras throughout the tri-state area, and have active teaching careers.
