The Massachusetts Senate (2008) voted to abolish the ancient 1913 law that has been used to discriminate against out of state same-sex couples. If your home state prohibited same-sex marriage the law prevented couples from coming to Massachusetts and getting legally married here. Now that the law is in the process of being abolished, you can come to Massachusetts and get married! Yeah!
