Our Wedding Story:
On April 23, 2004, after just more than 11 years together, we were married in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We had made the decision to marry one another when San Francisco was issuing licenses & performing ceremonies. We had made our arrangements and had our appointment. About one week before our date the HALT was issued. Needless to say our plans changed.
We then looked at the alternatives and decided to do it in Canada and chose Vancouver, British Columbia. We found a great online resource, www.queermarriage.com and the authors made it very easy to learn the facts and get the wheels moving.
Keep strong and support our politicians that believe that discrimination is wrong and that straight married couples do not deserve special rights.
